As you probably know, Far Cry 3 is now out in the wilds and available for you to purchase from your nearest gaming emporium. This isn’t a review…i’ll pop that up here once I’ve sunk my teeth into the game a wee bit more. From what I’ve seen so far however, it’s worthy of the accolades It’s receiving and is no doubt going to be in the running for the game of the year. (more…)
Far Cry 3 Single player intro and co-op missions.
Halo Anniversary, reaching 100 subs and thoughts regarding having a Youtube channel.
Recently, as in the last couple of days, I reached the 100 subs mark on my Youtube channel (it’s actually 101 now, thanks to some awesome bastard), so as a wee celebration on me getting into three-figures, i’ve made a new video. (more…)
Resident Evil 6 official trailer…release date and some thoughts.
Come on…don’t act so surprised…like a new Call of Duty, the sun rising in the morning and thick as fuck idiots on the latest Big Brother, a new game in the Resident Evil series has been announced and shouldn’t really catch anyone off guard. (more…)
Saints Row: The third Guest review. (Xbox 360)
It’s another game that i’ll probably never get around to playing (seeing as how I still have the 1st game on my shelf around 10% done), so it’s time for another guest review, again from my good mate Declan. If you missed his other guest review he kindly did for me, you can check out his thoughts on Skyrim by clicking right here. Go and give the guy a follow on Twitter too…..he’s a motivational trainer by trade, but he doesn’t half like his videogames. So over to you Dex. (more…)
Uncharted 3 review
Uncharted 3 started off in 2007. Developed by Naughty Dog, the game recieved great reviews and quickly garnered a huge fan base. The sequel, released in 2009, took everything that made the first game great, added some new features, including multiplayer, and went on to gather up some stellar reviews (including some really high metacritic scores). And now the third game in the series has just been released. Me, as well as a billion other people have been waiting for this game since the second, so is it any good? (more…)
Daytona USA XBLA review.
DAYTONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Yeah, you all know what i’m talking about. That sound that used to greet us all upon walking into almost any arcade establishment several years ago. Daytona, as well as Sega Rally and ridge Racer, almost defined the arcade racer as we know it. Loud, brash and more importantly, more fun than a life-sized jelly model of Kelly Brook. It’s now available on XBLA and Playstation network. So has it been worth the wait? Read on…. (more…)
GTA V is OFFICIAL! Kind of……
Well, we knew it would be coming, and it is.
Rockstar have just announced Grand Theft Auto V is on the way.
That’s pretty much it. The very first trailer will be shown on 2nd November of this year….just over a week away.

My pants are filled with excitement.
Batman: Arkham city, pre-order deals, the online pass and the death of gaming.
Yeah, ok, the headline is pretty strong and probably not the case, but this week saw a precident in this beloved hobby that you and I love.
Rocksteady Studios have made the decision to include an online pass with their highly-anticipated single-player game Batman: Arkham city. The pass, included with every new copy of the game, will unlock the certain sections of the game that include Catwoman. Apparently, this equates to around 10% of the actual campaign. What happens if you decide that money is a bit tight, and you choose to hold out for a pre-owned copy of the game? Well, for starters, that 10% of the game is locked out, unless you decide to stump up and pay for the online pass through XBL or the Playstation network. (more…)
WORLD EXCLUSIVE! Oddword: Stranger’s Wrath HD hands on preview.
That’s correct guys, you read the headline correctly. Last Friday I managed to pop up to Leeds to visit the guys at Just Add Water, developers of the HD remake of Stranger’s Wrath, for an exclusive hands on playthrough of the build of the game. While I was there I also held an interview with CEO of JAW, Stewart Gilray, for a chat about the game, the future for the Oddworld series and how they go about developing a game and transforming it to HD. But more about that later. (more…)
Mark Kermode’s take on L.A Noire
Yeah, ok…i’m slightly late to the party on this one, but hey, a good video is a good video.
Whilst watching a few movie reviews on Youtube, I happened to stumble across this. Now, if you’re not familiar with Mark Kermode, he’s an English film reviewer who is known for the way he can completely destroy any film that he doesn’t quite like. He’s utterly brutal, in a completely well mannered, non-sweary way. (more…)
