As you probably know, Far Cry 3 is now out in the wilds and available for you to purchase from your nearest gaming emporium. This isn’t a review…i’ll pop that up here once I’ve sunk my teeth into the game a wee bit more. From what I’ve seen so far however, it’s worthy of the accolades It’s receiving and is no doubt going to be in the running for the game of the year. (more…)
It’s another game that i’ll probably never get around to playing (seeing as how I still have the 1st game on my shelf around 10% done), so it’s time for another guest review, again from my good mate Declan. Rockstar have just announced Grand Theft Auto V is on the way.
That’s pretty much it. The very first trailer will be shown on 2nd November of this year….just over a week away.

Now, if you’re not familiar with Mark Kermode, he’s an English film reviewer who is known for the way he can completely destroy any film that he doesn’t quite like. The Games Workshop universe, futuristic or fantasy, is absolutely ripe for video game fodder. We had the game based on Heroquest years ago, Space Hulk was also pretty cool, and of course there have been the RTS games such as Dawn of War. This time though, the universe has moved to the action game, with Warhammer 40K Space Marine. Relic, the developers behind the aforementioned Dawn of War games and Company of heroes, throw themselves into the 3rd-person genre, and is it actually any good?
