After sitting on the fence about the game for a while, I picked up ID software’s latest effort “RAGE” today. Gamestation have it in for the cheap and cheerful price of £19.99. So I thought as I delved into their latest masterpiece i’d record the first ten minutes, just in case, like me, you have held off and are wondering what it’s like.
It’s drawn comparisons with Borderlands, and seeing as how i’ve never played that I can’t possibly comment. To me it’s like Bulletstorm without the dick and tit jokes….which could put a downer on things for you perverts out there.
It looks fucking awesome. Seriously. One of the best looking games i’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing….and that’s coming after me gushing my cock off over how good looking Uncharted 3 is. A silky smooth 60 frames per second, it’s just a wonder to behold. Gunplay is nice and tight, weapons feel like actual individual items, rather then the “me too” selection you get in the COD games, and finding parts and items and crafting new tools is a nice touch. So please, if you’re on the fence, check out the video below and see if it floats your boat.
And by all means, if you have played it already let me know your thoughts. But please, no spoilers. I’ll be forced to chop off your nose if you do.
